Tis the season to be gifting!
And I’ll be honest, I used to LOVE gifting!
I would scour the mall for the best deals and find the perfect sweater for my sister, or bath set for my Mom. But now, I feel, more than ever, we live in a time that too easily encourages us to spend beyond our means in an effort to out-do and wow our loved ones. I too often noticed myself gifting for the sake of gifting, which felt unintentional and at times, even a little wasteful.
Today, I both give and receive far fewer gifts and feel much more at ease about it.
This year, I’ll be gifting my nephews and my fiance, and I may or may not create some DIY or foodie gifts to share with my adult family & friends.
However, I know there are plenty of you who WILL still be shopping for loved ones and I wanted to share some of my favorite vegan, ethical and/or sustainable gifts ideas so that you might be inspired to purchase more consciously this season.
Read on to see my top holiday gift picks (by price point) FOR HER!

Keep Cup – The perfect gift for the coffee enthusiast! Both myself & my fiance have the 16 oz Keep Cup’s and love them. This is by far my favorite to go coffee cup to drink out of and their aesthetic is hard to beat.
Gratitude Journal – This is such a thoughtful gift for truly anyone, I’ve been using the 5 Minute Journal for a couple of years now & love having it as a part of my morning (and evening) routine.
Matt & Nat Ora Belt – With high waisted denim and belts so on trend, this one here is vegan (win!) and far more cost friendly than any designer alternative, it’s also on MY wish list this year.
Vancouver Candle Co – I am all about the candles this year, and I just love this local Vancouver company! All of their candles are made with soy & essentials oils, which means they are free of toxic fragrances and safe for your home.
Non Toxic Manicure – This Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish set is fun, 7 free & long lasting. What more could a girl ask for?
Pela Case – A lovely gift or stocking stuffer, these compostable phone cases and zero-waste screen protectors keep phones safe & looking cute, all without the plastic! Save $10 on your order when you use my link.
$100 & Under
Petit Vour Beauty Box Subscription – The gift that keeps on giving! Cruelty free, non toxic, vegan beauty goodies you can gift to your loved ones for 3, 6, or 12 months. This is honestly the only subscription box I’ve truly gotten behind. I’ve discovered so many incredible clean beauty & makeup brands and had so much fun being surprised by all the goodies. I can’t think of a better gift for a clean beauty junkie. Use code FIRSTBOX for 25% off your first box.
Ethical PJ’s – I’ve currently got my eye on this Ettitude Bamboo Lyocell Set from Made Trade who are helping to preserve a large section of the Amazon Rainforest by offsetting one metric ton of carbon for every $100 spent from 11/29/2019 through 12/03/2019. And I’m also very into the striped Cameran Set by Reformation who are also hosting a sale of 30% off through 12/02/2019.
Classic Gold Hoops – I adore my classic, 14 carat gold Mejuri hoops, which were actually gifted to me! And I wear them with nearly everything. These are an affordable, ethically made, staple that are sure to live in your gift receivers collection for years to come.
A Pretty Bralette – I adore the feminine details & sustainability of Cosabella’s intimates.
A Simple Sweater – Currently on my wish list, is the Malda Corduroy Sweatshirt & the Sahar Oversized Hoodie by Amour Vert which is a gorgeous ethical boutique for everything from clothes, to accessories & more.
Girlfriend Collective – For your fit friend. I personally love their Lite fabric, it’s thinner and a little cooler for extra sweaty workouts and made of recycled fishing nets, how cool right!? If it were me, I’d love a pair of on trend biker shorts, but you know your peeps best.
$100 & Up
Vegan Booties – I am obsessed with both my Matt & Nat Tamara Boots (currently 40% off) & my Susi Billy Boots (also on sale right now) that are made of recycled microfiber. They are both such fall & winter style staples, and would make the perfect gift for the girl who loves shoes.
Clean Fragrance – Forever on my own wish list is Le Labo’s cruelty free, clean, vegan fragrances.
A Classic Bag – While I own quite a few of Matt & Nat’s vegan bags, for the last two fall & winter seasons, my Loyal Bag has been my everyday go to bag and I can’t think of a better staple wardrobe piece to gift. If you’re willing to splurge a little more, I’d highly suggest an Angela Roi bag, I have only one of their bags, but it is the highest quality vegan bag I’ve ever owned. Currently lusting after the retro chic Hamilton Bag.
Matt & Nat Coat – Ethical wool-free coats can be hard to come by, but gone are the days of having to choose a vegan option from a fast fashion company. Matt & Nat’s new line of coats are even made of recycled polyester.
A Vegan Jacket – Noize’s jackets are fully vegan, and what’s more is that their puffer styles are filled with 100% recycled plastic bottles. I am currently obsessed with my faux leather jacket, and the Jordan Leopard Puffer, which has been such a fun addition to my closet and is sure to wow the special girl in your life too. Use code RG20 for 20% off your order.
Animal Print Skirt – I’m so here for the animal print trend and this Reformation Bengal Print Midi is not only sustainably made, but also super chic for your fashion forward friend or lady.
Vegan Pumps – For the vegan fashionista who loves a good heel! Women run, ethically made Cult of Coquette is my most favorite brand for sexy vegan shoes. While I adore my Sophia pumps in Cheetah & Patent Nude, I’ve personally been lusting after the Cima faux snakeskin beauties. Save some by using code: CYBER19 for 35% off through 12/04/2019.
Sustainable Flats – Made of recycled water bottles, fully machine washable and as comfortable as slippers, the Point Flats are sure to make you this years best gift giver.
